
Madhavi Purohit is a Senior Manager at Arghyam, where she leads initiatives on the sustainability of rural drinking water, with a strong focus on the operation and maintenance (O&M) of piped water schemes. She plays a key role in shaping Arghyam’s partnerships with government and nonprofit programs, designing sustainable O&M strategies for large-scale implementation. Madhavi spearheads Arghyam’s efforts to scale innovative solutions for water governance, integrating digital technology and institutional frameworks to strengthen service delivery. Before joining Arghyam, Madhavi was associated with the Water and Sanitation Management Organisation (WASMO), Gujarat, where she led funding for decentralized village water supply projects and the organization’s communication strategy. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Communication and brings a unique blend of field experience, policy engagement, and strategic program design to her work.
